Email Shows as Read Even Though I Have Not Read
Emails marked as read when I open Inbox. SOLVED: caused by Outlook reading mail
every bit the title says, when I open my Thunderbird to read emails all the new emails are already marked equally Read, not highlighted. I uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird and it is withal not mark new emails in a assuming alphabetic character, but in normal light text, marked as read. I have given donation to Mozilla and I really tin't believe how hard it was to get to this point in getting some client service . Please tell me why this is happening.

OK, I solved the problem of my emails being read before I read them. I had completely forgotten that I had setup my main email account in Outlook.com email client. I hadn't opened that Outlook email in many months because I usually merely become at that place to see my Hotmail account. For some reason fifty-fifty though I didn't go to Outlook.com to look at my principal email account, it was marker the emails equally read in Thunderbird..??
I removed the master account from Outlook.com client and the problem was solved. Thanks for any and all suggestions!

Practise you only read emails for that e-mail address in Thunderbird on 1 computer? For example do you access the email account via more than one figurer? Exercise y'all access those emails via webmail? Is information technology a Pop or Imap mail business relationship?
If yous only access that email address via Thunderbird, then the mail service should exist motorcar 'unread' on download, but I wonder if at that place is some setting that could be effecting incoming postal service.... Thinking out aloud here :) If you have enabled the adaptive junk mail controls, and then everything will probably be going through the Junk filter controls, so lets first with that.

I but have been reading postal service from this email account from my ane PC...I know what your maxim though considering I in one case had the email account setup to view on my prison cell, but I didn't like viewing them on my little jail cell telephone so I eliminated the account in at that place...I did come across and so that if I read them on a prison cell it would mark them equally Read on my PC, so I approximate that isn't the problem.

No clue what happened to cause this, I've been using Thunderbird and this email account for at to the lowest degree iv or 5 years and this problem merely of a sudden started. Was the mail being processed by a filter in Outlook?
